Thank you to everyone that came to my Open House. I believe I had 16 ladies that came and went during the 3 hour window. At 4pm, I drew the door prizes and 5 lucky ladies won 6 door prizes (yes, Pam won twice!!). Along with shopping retired goodies, I also had two Make’n’Takes at my Open House. Here they are:
- Baked Brown Sugar
- Whisper White
- Pacific Point
- Strawberry Slush
Tools / Extras:
- Stripes embossing folder
- Basic Jewels – Pearls
- Tafetta ribbon
The Kind & Cozy card was inspired by another card I saw similar to this layout.
Here’s the Vintage Postcard card with lots of sponging…love that sponging…although somehow my Crumb Cake sponge was missing during the Open house, so they improvised and did direct to paper. Sorry ’bout that.
- Chalk Talk
- Postage Due
- Timeless Talk
- Very Vintage – Jumbo Wheel
- Crumb Cake
- Midnight Muse
- Early Espresso
- Naturals White
Tools / Extras
- Distressing Tool
- Postage Stamp punch
- Stampin’ Sponge
- Baker’s Twine – White
- Chalktalk Framelits
- 1 3/8″ Circle punch
Vintage is my favorite! And the Naturals White makes a great card base for this layout. I had no idea how much I’d be using the Timeless Talk stamp set…love all those images!
I’m having the biggest Open House ever on Sunday, June 23rd! Here’s some photos of getting ready for my Retired Buffet:
I have many more punches, wheels, stamp sets, embellishments, Big Shot dies & embossing folders. Above is just a small sample.
I also have the new catalogs, 2 make’n’take cards, brownies, & tea. Not to mention some fabulous door prizes. You can increase your odds of winning by doing the following:
Hope to see you there!

Hope to see you this Saturday at my first Spring Show!!!
I had so much fun at the StampScrapArt Tour at the Mesquite Convention Center the last weekend of January, and will definitely do this show again next year. It was great to talk to so many ladies that share my passion.
Saturday was busy, busy, busy!!! Thank goodness for helpers! Sunday was a little more quiet making it easier to answer questions in more detail. This photo was taken right before we took down the booth.
Thank you to everyone that stopped by my booth. I raised $300 for the Little Elm Library during the two days…thank you everyone that purchased these retired sets from the library collection. These were donated to the library and I am helping them turn them into cash. I still have about 137 sets left and will have them at my next show in April.
