I’ve been interested in art for as long as I can remember, and have dabbled in almost every kind of crafting out there. I started stamping around 2005 when my sister invited me to a party, and I’m still loving every minute of creating beautiful handmade cards and scrapbooks. Here’s a photo of me and my sister, Sally, at OnStage in Shreveport, and then one of me with Sara & Shelli at an OnStage in Salt Lake City. I love going to all the Stampin’ Up! events and retreats with my team and friends I’ve made along the journey. As a team, we try to do 2 retreats a year. We get so many projects created without the distractions of being at home 🙂
I do several local vendor shows every year. This is a photo teaching the make’n’take in Mesquite a year or two ago. Sorry for a couple of blurry photos.
I got re-married in 2017 to my wonderful husband, Tim. I’ll have to write our story at some point, because it’s a fascinating tale…everyone says I need to write a book when they hear the story.
We both love the water, sailing, hiking, science fiction, attending renaissance festivals (yes, dressed up! We are both mostly Scottish). We also recently rode motorcycles in upper Michigan during a family reunion on his side. I was nervous to be on the back of the Harley, but it was a beautiful ride, and I relaxed the more we rode.
We also just purchased an RV camper, so there’s definitely more camping in our future. I can’t wait to explore all the national parks. Maybe I can bring some Stampin Up! kits to make on the road (wink! wink!).
