Every September, I design a magnetic calendar project for my Stamp Clubs. Here is this year’s project. I used the very popular Country Woods designer series paper this go around. And of course, I added in some newer products to embellish it.

Magnetic Calendar Project using Country Woods designer paper from Stampin' Up!, Wonderful Thoughts Bundle, and leaf from Christmas Greenery.

I found this nice little positive message in the Wonderful Thoughts stamp set. Every year, I look through all the stamp sets for a nice message to go on that year’s magnetic calendar project. Also, I used Clear Embossing Powder on the message right after stamping (while still wet) to add shine to it.

I also used the big leaf die from the Christmas Greenery dies cut from the new Earthened Toned Metallic Specialty paper. This foil paper is not copper, it’s more of a bronzy brown color.

I buy thin magnetic sheets (4×6 or 5×7) from Amazon to cut and adhere to the back side. You can also usually buy these from office supply stores as magnetic photo mounting refrigerator magnets. The little tear off calendars are from the Taylored Expressions website.
