Finally played with the Online Exclusives, Umbrella Days Bundle, about a week ago. I had cleaned out a drawer and found an unfinished card layout already cut with some retired card stock and designer paper. It’s one of my favorite layouts, so I decided to look for a good bundle to complete it. And, the Umbrella Days Bundle images seemed perfect to fit on the already cut paper. So, here’s what I made first with the older paper and then another similar design with the newer Floral & Gingham Vellum and Floral Delight paper.

The technique I used is paper piecing. Luckily, the dies do all the work for you. Normally, you would stamp the images on designer paper and fussy cut them out. But, this bundle has dies to cut the boots and umbrella sections out of designer paper for you. You don’t even have to stamp them first, but I did so I’d have more image detail on them.

I also used Wink of Stella on the boots, coats, and umbrellas. Plus, check out the umbrella I did on the inside with just the dies, and the envelope flap is using the retired Raindrops embossing folder.
