My team had our April retreat at Moments Retreat recently. I have quite a few photos, so I’ll share a few. Mostly we had team members with just a few stamp friends to fill beds that we needed filling. However, one of those crafty friends just took advantage of the amazing May join special! Three of us arrived early and once we were set up, we toasted to a great retreat with our first bottle of wine.
We all got tons of projects done…stamping, samplers, crocheting, scrapbooking, card-making, bookmarks, and Paper Pumpkin kits. Here’s Debbie with her Perennial Lavender sampler.

Andrea surprised us all with baking dozens of cookies. I think there were at least 4 different kinds. Of course, everyone just hated eating fresh warm cookies…lol.
Maybe that should be a new tradition! Our Saturday night tradition is grill night. I grill steaks for everyone (with a little help keeping track of the steaks and how everyone wants theirs cooked). It was also Peggy’s birthday so we had 2 pies for dessert and sang to her.
One of the best new things is that my daughter who joined my team a couple of years ago, now comes to retreat regularly with us. I just love sharing all of this with her.
As usual, we had a fabulous time at our April retreat at Moments Retreat and can’t wait until the next one!
