We had this year’s BackStage event in Vegas last weekend. Actually, we stayed at the Red Rock Resort & Casino which was a little away from the strip. I certainly don’t mind having a little space between me and the Vegas strip…lol. Here’s a great view of the resort one of my roommates took.
Some of us arrived really early on Thursday, so we had a lot of extra time on our hands. So, I met up with my friend, Suzie, and some of her team while waiting for my roommates to arrive. We sat in the lobby bar and they finished up swaps. Then, we went to see the Barbie movie at the movie theater right in the resort. Lots of fun moments in the movie and the detail for all the Barbie items and clothes were amazing.
The first night, we had a Sweets & Swaps party by the pool. My downline, Liz, made 65 swaps for me to swap for her at the party. This was amazing! I got to participate without making swaps, check out and photograph all the swaps, and of course have fun swapping. Thanks, Liz! I’ll post all the swap cards in a separate post next.
It was also a “black out” party…everyone dressed all in black. Plus, there was lots of desserts, music, dancing, swapping, and re-connecting with our big Stampin’ Up! family.
I got one fun photo with Sara. It was lightly raining before I snapped this photo, but since it stopped raining, I stayed at the party a while longer visiting with more friends.
I had an amazing time being with my team that came plus re-connecting with my extended Stampin’ Up! family. The training was top notch and the events were awesome. More posts and photos to come…stay tuned.
