Stampin’ Up! held their BackStage leadership event in New Orleans this year. We had it virtually prior to this, and I’m so glad it was finally in person! Only demonstrators that are Silver Elite and above are invited to register and attend each year. We get special training, fun parties, swap events, networking lunches, and free time in a cool city to site-see and explore.
When we checked in, we got a tote perfect for using at the swap party later that night plus lots of goodies inside.
They always have some cool photo op displays for selfies and group photos. Here are a couple of those.
Laurie & me…she was my roommate.
The first day I met a great group of ladies that I walked down to Jackson Square with and then we went to Pat O’Brien’s (famous for inventing Hurricane drinks) for Hurricanes…except I got a Long Island Tea…lol.
That night Stampin Up! had a Sweets and Swaps party for us. Shelli welcomed us, and I got my first opportunity to say hello to her and a few other corporate personnel I haven’t seen in a while plus some old friends.
They also gave us beads when we checked in and told us to collect them throughout the event and bring them to the final party. I wasn’t sure why, but it was so worth it!
…to be continued.
Happy Stampin’
