Last weekend I had a Stamp-a-Stack class making these Beautiful Butterflies cards. Everyone made a dozen cards; four of each design. I designed the color scheme to incorporate the Beautiful Bokeh 6″ x 6″ designer series paper from this suite.

Usually, I die cut ahead of time for these classes. So, the butterflies and the butterfly bodies were prepped ahead of class so the ladies could finish their dozen cards in time. Also, I added the Tiled Techniques stamp set for the corners and backgrounds on the blue & yellow cards…I’m loving the versatility of this stamp set.

In the past, I’ve had trouble figuring out how to use the Tungsten metallic paper. It was in a retired silver foil package, and now it’s also in our Textured Metallic from the annual catalog. What I’ve found is that it looks great with purples. So, when I’m using any purples and want foil/metallic, I grab the Tungsten paper from one of these packs.

Colors: Fresh Freesia, Petunia Pop, Berry Burst, Tungsten, Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, Gold, Balmy Blue, Silver

I hope you enjoyed seeing these easy Beautiful Butterflies cards. I have another design to post that I did for my Stamp Clubs this month.
