I designed this Bird’s Eye View card for my Stamp Clubs this month. Even though I don’t usually go for the cute type sets, this one is undeniably super cute. Copying the sample in the catalog, I left off the color behind the glasses. But, I also added Wink of Stella glitter to the glasses and book pages.
Of course my Bird’s Eye View card needed a greeting, and the stamp set doesn’t include any greetings. So, I thought some big word dies next to my image might do the trick. These words are from the Wanted to Say dies.
Also, when I was coloring the bird, I was surprised by how much I liked the Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, and Copper Clay colors together. So, I added the Pumpkin Pie strip behind the images to tie in that color more. I used the Cajun Craze Blends for his wings and beak. And to top it off, I had to stamp another little bird from the set on my white insert inside and on the envelope to match.
