I designed a simple Valentine’s card using the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder from the new January catalog. It comes packaged together with the matching dies. Unfortunately, the stamp set and folder bundle (Love & Happiness Bundle) is currently on back order, but expected back in stock the week of January 24th. So, set yourself a reminder to get yours when it’s back in stock.
Make sure to cut the heart die out before embossing. Otherwise, the process of die cutting will flatten out the embossing if embossed first. So, after die cutting the white heart from the center of my card front, I embossed the card front and another heart die cut from Highland Heather card stock to pop up on dimensionals. The greeting is from the Love & Happiness stamp set.
In addition, just to bring out the embossing some more, I used Wink of Stella on the purple heart (I wish you could see the sparkle in the photo). I also went ahead and embossed the white heart and taped it inside the card…because, why not?
