I decided I wanted to make the Burlap & Blooms Wreath as soon as I saw it in the Occasions Catalog, but I wasn’t sure how I would do the class. I finally thought, well, I’ll just have everyone buy the kit from me with no class fee…we’ll just make them together and have fun!
It was so much fun that I’ll probably do more like this. I ordered the kits ahead of the party and everyone just came with hot glue gun loaded and ready…lol. Anyone could do a get together like this. Just order 3 kits and invite over a couple of friends for instant fun.
Here’s my finished wreath except I haven’t put a piece of burlap to hang it by or maybe I’ll add a burlap bow. It came with an extra piece of burlap ribbon for hanging it by. Some of us also had a good-sized piece of burlap leftover from the spool after wrapping our wreath.
The flowers are easy after you watch Stampin’ Up!’s video below of how to make them plus the kit has everything cut, punched, and ready for you to hot glue. The fringe ones that require sticky strip even already have the sticky strip on them! Love that!
We gabbed about everything under the sun, and I just interrupted occasionally to teach them how to do the next type of flower that I learned from the video.
I hope you order one of these kits and try it out. Here’s a link to order if you’re interested.
At Leadership, we got a sneak peek at the next 3 months (January, February, & March) of Paper Pumpkin kits…WOW! They have really increased the value of what we get in the kits! They said that going forward we will be seeing this kind of value every month. They were a good value before, but I am very excited about the upcoming kits.
I can’t reveal photos of the upcoming kits, but I can show you the last 2 month’s kits. I took some photos of them laid out at Leadership. Every kit has some type of ink and stamps or left over embellishments that you can keep after the project is done to use on other projects.
Anyway…now is the time to try it out and take advantage of the promotion. Click the link below to get your welcome kit and start getting these monthly creative kits coming right to your door.

I made a journal out of my Thankful Tablescape Simply Created Kit similar to the one Sara showed us at convention. I got the bundle that included the Thankful stamp. Here’s how mine turned out. I only added a Champagne Glimmer leaf, 2 jump rings, some ribbon, and a few buttons.
The front and back covers are made from the chipboard backing that the kit came with.
Here are the inside pockets. I alternated which way I folded the pockets. I just need to add some photos and titles or names with my Chalk Marker that came with the kit.
I also stamped on some of the pages with the Magnificent Maple stamp and sponged the edges of everything with Chocolate Chip ink. Get yours by clicking the Shop Now button in the margin of my blog or by clicking on the gift bag at the top of my blog.
I was excited about the little bicycle stamp and banner stamp in this month’s paper pumpkin.
Here’s a close up of the cards. I changed the layout only slightly. They’re cuter in person when you can really see the polka dot background.
Today’s the last day for the $10 for the first two months special. After today it’s back to the regular $19.95 (still a great price!). Both prices include shipping. Join today by clicking on my Paper Pumpkin logo in the side bar.
Be among the first 3 to join with me and get a free Paper Pumpkin kit from a past month mailed to you (this is only offered through me). Click here to see my previous post for details.
I made my Party Pennants Pumpkin Kit with my friend, Linda, at work during lunch. I added sponging to the edges of everything and a few rhinestones, but other than that, it’s just how it was designed.
I hung the little banner flags back to back so you can see a message from either side. They’re meant to be put in a cake, cupcakes, or bottles weighted with sand or something.
I can’t wait for my August Paper Pumpkin to arrive. It’s called Pedal Praise, but that’s the only hint I have. You have to wait until you get the shiny red box in the mail…it’s a surprise each month!
There’s a promotion this month for $10 for the first 2 months plus a free kit from me. Read about it in my July 29th post: click here.

I just finished last month’s kit before I went to convention, and I have July’s to complete. I’ll upload photos soon. You never know what the projects will be…I haven’t been disappointed yet! I like to bring them to work and do them at lunchtime…sometimes with a coworker friend of mine that gets them too.
