Last Saturday, I had a couple of team members over for the Creativity Now event. This is the second year that Stampin’ Up! has done this event for us. It allows demonstrators to get our hands on an upcoming stamp bundle way before the catalog pre-order. Plus, we get several online presentations, create samples with the new bundle, and get a chance to learn new tips & techniques. It’s an online event, but always fun to gather with a couple of team members to share the fun. So, I thought I’d share some photos of us and the samples we made.
Here are the samples we made with the new Translucent Florals bundle. They gave us instructions for a simple card and an advanced card. We all made the advanced versions, plus, I made two of each card.
Peggy took a photo of me holding my favorite of the 3 cards. On this one, we stamped the flowers and leaves, then stamped them on vellum to add another layer on top. It’s so pretty in person.
The Creativity Now event was definitely more fun with friends. Hopefully, Stampin’ Up! will continue this annual event, and hopefully, I will also have a few team members join me again next year.
