I designed this simple Friends For Life card this morning. I wanted to make a friend birthday card using Blueberry Bushel. After trying a couple of different patterned papers with my Blueberry Bushel card stock and “friend” word, I decided they were too busy. So, I went with a piece of embossed Azure Afternoon card stock. I can see maybe making lots of these cards in several monochromatic duo colors.
This is the new Dashing Designs 3D embossing folder…love it! I think I’ll make this one be a June Stamp Club card. Be careful with the dot for your “i”…I lost the dot on the second card I did…it just evaporated into thin air…lol. So, I cut a little odd piece and used that for the “i”. I guess you could also just use the Blueberry Bushel Blends and draw one on.
This is my first Friends For Life card design, but I love die sets that have these big words with word mats to adhere them too. Plus, you have the big “friend” word in the stamp set too. So, lots of options.
Colors: Blueberry Bushel, Azure Afternoon, Basic White, Night of Navy (greeting)
