I have a few photos to share from visiting the glaciers and Juneau. The first glacier was a “drive by”…lol. For the Dawes Glacier, the ship drove as close as possible and then did a 360 degree circle so all sides of the ship could see it. Rain made the photos a little hazy, but the bright blue in the ice was amazing in person.

We went up to the pool deck with sweaters, hats, glove, windbreakers, binoculars, and hot coffee.

The next glacier was the Mendenhall Glacier which was part of our Skagway excursion.

We couldn’t get too close to this one, but they also had a visitor center that we went to. The glacier used to be right next to the center, but has moved quite a bit over the years. Since there were signs to watch for bears, I was a little nervous walking down the path to get a closer look. I didn’t see any bears, but my one of my demo friends did! Luckily, the two bears just walked across the path and didn’t bother the tourists.

It was definitely sweater day for everyone…I took a photo with two of my demo friends, Karina and Brenda, in the hospitality room. In total on this incentive trip, I came home with three packages of 12×12 paper, 2 stamp sets, and one embossing folder. See the basket behind us. We spin a wheel and pick the prize associated with the image it lands on.

In Juneau, we were only on a bus to our whale watching and Mendenhall glacier excursion. So, since we didn’t walk around the town, I only took a couple of photos from the ship and the bus. Here’s the port from our balcony.

And, here’s the famous Red Dog Saloon.

My final post will be feeding the friendly peacocks in Victoria, BC on our last stop.
