The Happy Holly-Days stamp set is perfect for designing a nostalgic-looking card.  Also, I’ve always loved “Happy Christmas” as a Christmas greeting…it’s more of an old English greeting.  To enhance the nostalgia look, I decided to color the bird in Cajun Craze and Soft Suede and use gingham paper.

Happy Holly-Days Stampin Up

It was a bit of coloring, but I love how it came out.  And, the Gold Shimmer Vellum holly and dots added just the right touch without needing any ribbon or other embellishments.  The vellum holly and dots are cut from the Holly Border punch included in the Happy Holly-Days Bundle.  I’m in love with all the Shimmer Vellum products (it also comes in the newer In Colors).  I wound up making 14 of these cards total (8 for me and a 6 card set to sell in my boxed cards for vendor shows).
