Ok, so here’s the Hearts & Hugs badgers card.  I wouldn’t normally think of badgers as a cute animal, but they are certainly cute in this stamp set.  Pinks and grays together are one of my favorite combinations especially since I’m not a huge pink fan.  The grays help tone down the pink for me…lol.

I used the Layered Florals embossing folder for the white background piece.  Also, using two of the Deckled Circles dies allows a peek-a-boo color behind the top circle.  Use the #8 and #9 circles counting in from the outside edge.

Just decide where the tummies are as you’re coloring so you leave it open to color a different color…I used the Gray Granite (light) Blends for the tummies and the Pebbled Path Blends for the rest of the badgers.  Plus, black for the nose and Light Flirty Flamingo for the checks and ears.

Below are the colors and supplies for the Hearts & Hugs badgers card.  Of course, you could also substitute another critter as your focal image.  I still need to design a card with the mouse and the hamster/chipmunk.

Colors:  Flirty Flamingo, Pebbled Path, Gray Granite (light Blend for tummies), Basic White, Black
