I designed this Hearts & Hugs walrus card for my stamp clubs this month. Just heat emboss your image in white embossing powder on Gray Granite card stock to avoid having to color in your walrus image. Plus, the white outlined image and greeting work great for the snowy North scene.
The snowy sky behind them is from the So Swirly embossing folder. For the slope, you could just cut the In Color Glimmer paper with your scissors, but I actually used a border die from the Elegant Borders dies. Plus, if none of the pieces fall out, you can adhere it as is. Otherwise, just cut off the dashed border so it looks more like a hill. The walrus image will cover up the middle curly detail.
I’m also thinking that this Hearts & Hugs walrus card could easily become a Christmas card by tweaking the colors and the greeting. Maybe I’ll try one since it’s a fairly easy card.
I have another Hearts & Hugs card to upload too with the badgers. I’ll upload it soon, but this weekend I’m getting ready for a stamp-a-stack class. These take a while to cut since everyone will make a dozen cards.
