I finished designing my Make’n’Take for my show next weekend.  It’s an annual vendor show I do every January in Mesquite, Texas (Stamp, Scrap, Art Tour).  I decided to make a cute card using the new Watercolor Melon stamp set from Sale-a-Bration.  Since it’s a punch set, it’s good choice for a large class.  It uses the Modern Oval punch from the big annual catalog.

The punch is perfect for punching out the whole watermelon.  But, what’s really cool is that the half slice perfectly fits the curve too.  Just cut a straight line to trim it after you punch it out.

This next week, I’m playing with some more of the sale-a-bration items so I have more samples to show at my event.  But, I also want to play with the Nature’s Sweetness Suite Collection.  So, I’m definitely excited about making more cards this coming week.

Colors:  Garden Green, Poppy Parade, Basic Black, Basic White

Supplies (except basic tools/adhesives):

I hope my Friday night class participants love this cute card as much as I do!  I have 50 people doing this Make’n’Take for my show.  I’m also designing a quick make’n’take at my vendor table for the show a week after this one.

Happy Stampin’
