For World Card Making Day, Stampin’ Up! decided to use the Mix & Match Ephemera Packs from the annual catalog. However, I decided that I wanted to use the holiday ones in the mini catalog. So, I purchased all the packs on page 15 and made tons of cards and tags. Of course, I got several done during the event, but then finished playing with everything over the following week. And, of course, I added some embellishments, ribbon, vellum, and other items to round out the designs. I’ll start with the cards I made. I used one pack of Gold Dipped Cards & Envelopes. I like to cut the card fronts in half and mount them on regular card stock. And, I was able to make two of every design since there’s two of everything in the ephemera packs.
Then, I made all the big tags in the ephemera packs. The big ones were easy…I just paired the biggest images left with the big tags and added greetings and gold cord.
Then, it was a little more challenging to make the smaller tags, but I had fun matching it all up. I still need to add some baker’s twine to all my small tags. Also, I stamped a “to/from” stamp on the back of all the big tags before taping everything down. I just left the little tags plain on the back.
I still have some pieces left from my Mix & Match Ephemera packs. But, I’ll use them up eventually.
