Here’s my Mixed Florals Mother’s Day card in several beautiful blues. After green, my favorite color is blue, and I love putting the soft blues in this paper with Night of Navy. The flowers are heat embossed with white embossing powder and then colored in with the white watercolor pencil. This effect helps keep the design all shades of blue. I used a thick Basic White card base for extra stability and I also roughed up/scrapped the edges with scissors

One of the reasons I purchased this bundle was for the little lady bugs. So, I had to include them in the design. Thankfully, the dies have 2 dies for each of the three lady bugs. So, you can die cut two at a time…love that! Here’s a close up. I also stamped all three lady bugs on the inside and the envelope in Night of Navy ink..no coloring in needed.

My clubs this month will make this as one of their three projects. Plus, I’ll be mailing one to my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day. Forgot to include that the greeting was from Stippled Roses.
