I made these pick tool retreat gifts for my upcoming retreat for everyone coming. Since many of the bead options are too small to fit on these picks, it was a challenge to find beads I loved. But, I’m so happy with how they turned out. And, I love the heart beads and the little hanging tags I found that say “Made With Love”.
Of course, I needed something else to add to the gift, so I got these logo letter openers. We can use these to open all the fabulous handmade cards that make their way to our mailboxes…lol.
And then, I just packaged them up with a couple of chocolates to bring to the retreat! You have to have chocolate at a retreat, right? I used some retired Stampin’ Up! card boxes to hold everything so they can re-use those to hold cards. I’ll probably make these pick tool retreat gifts again for a future retreat.
In case you’re wondering, I got the plain pick tools at Hobby Lobby and they already came with the stoppers to hold the beads in place and protectors for the sharp end. Actually, the little protector is just those little stoppers that jewelry stores put at the end of earring wires. I hope my ladies love them…I do!
