I’m finally playing with my Rainbow Glimmer Paper.  You know how it is; sometimes it’s just too beautiful to cut into.  My clubs this month are making this card showcasing the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle, Rainbow Glimmer Paper, and Stitched With Whimsy Dies.

Sweet Ice Cream card using Rainbow Glimmer paper.

Since this bundle has a punch, It’s so easy to punch out several scoops along the edge of the paper.  While I usually adhere my card stock straight, I thought the whimsical nature of this design would look best with the background mounted on different angles.  For the Stitched Whimsy Dies, I used the 2nd largest die.

Also, the sprinkles are small, but adhere easily with a dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  With small items like this, I usually put the dot of glue where I’m placing the item.  For example, put the dots right where you want the sprinkles directly on your glimmer paper.  Then, place each sprinkle on each dot of glue.  When you add embellishments, it’s always more eye-pleasing if they are in odd numbers which is why I have 5 sprinkles.

Colors:  Melon Mambo (base), Granny Apple Green (ink), Crumb Cake (5-1/4″ x 4″), Basic White (5″ x 3-3/4″)
