My second Open House card features the Relaxing Waterside Bundle. The chairs are what sold me on this bundle. But, the Waterside Retreat designer paper in the suite collection also has great water scenes. I made several other designs at my recent team retreat using this suite collection…I’ll post them separately.
Since Father’s Day is coming up, I decided to do one sample with the “Dad” stamp and the other with the retirement saying. That way, my Open House attendees have a choice.
In looking for a shape for the chair to sit on, I decided on these nested oval label shapes from the new Silly Old Bear Suite Collection (also coming out tonight at midnight MT). They are called Sweet Words & Labels dies. The Winnie the Pooh bundles and paper are all in this suite as an Online Exclusive collection plus an embossing folder…I’ll post the flyer in a separate post.
This Relaxing Waterside bundle is really all about the Adirondack chairs. To enhance the chair, make some squiggly lines with the Pecan Pie dark Blends marker. And, blend some Lost Lagoon on the bottom of the label shape to “anchor” the chair so it isn’t “floating”.
Also, for the coffee cup and book, stamp in Pretty Peacock and color in with the Light Lost Lagoon Blends marker.
