Last Sunday, I had my Rustic Christmas Stamp-a-Stack class featuring the Peaceful Evergreens Bundle. Also, I used the Peaceful Season Bundle, the Christmas Labels Bundle, and the snowflakes from the Frozen Edges stamp set. In the mini catalog on page 51, there’s a color scheme page. The Christmas Chic card pictured there inspired these three designs for my class.
Here’s the first card using the Painted Trees embossing folder for the Basic Beige background.
The second card using the Snowflake Sky embossing folder. All the cards have an embossing folder background with Crumb Cake ink sponged onto them using a Blending Brush. The ribbon was colored with a Pecan Pie dark Blend.
Lastly, the third card uses the new Forever Plaid embossing folder. This one is one of the extra large folders, and so I was able to emboss two backgrounds at a time…love that!…especially since I embossed all the backgrounds ahead of the class.
Just a note, the star image has a more rounded star die in the bundle, but I used the retired Starlit punch to punch these out. So much easier for my class to do than die cutting all those stars (they made 4 of each design). For this ribbon, I used the Deep number 200 Blend.
Here’s a photo of one half of the class making their cards. I always put all the card supplies in these white sacks.
Here’s the other side of the class.
