Welcome to the San Antonio Product Spotlight Presenters Blog Hop. A couple of months ago, Chad Williams from Stampin’ Up! corporate called me to see if I’d do a Product Spotlight Presentation at OnStage in San Antonio for the new Come Sail Away suite. He didn’t tell me what suite I’d have back then, but of course I said yes. Later, we talked a little about the options, and when he mentioned a sailboat themed suite, I got very excited. I grew up sailing and own 2 sailboats, so this suite featuring the Sailing Home stamp set was the perfect choice for me.
I wanted to share a couple of the cards I designed using this awesome suite. I’ll share more designs over the next few weeks plus all the fun photos from OnStage so be sure and subscribe to my blog.
I love that this set can be used for masculine cards, romantic themed projects, and beach themed vacation scrapbooking. Plus, the suite has lots of coordinating products.
My sister snapped a photo of me presenting. It was so fun to share my designs on stage and meet the other presenters.
Here’s my True North card using the painter’s tape technique.
Here’s my Hello Handsome card using the Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack and Come Sail Away designer series paper that coordinate with the Sailing Home stamp set.
My sunset card (Video to follow in a week or two).
And here’s the Make’n’Take we made. Advanced on the left and quick & easy on the right.
Here’s the list of the other presenters, so check out their projects as well:

I also have several other cards I made with this suite including another sunset card with pigments that I’ll post over the next week or two, so subscribe to my blog to get notified when those post. I will also do a video as well to show how to achieve the sunset on the card posted above since several demonstrators have asked for details on that one.
While you’re waiting for the new catalog of goodies, be sure to grab retiring products before they’re out of stock for good. I’ll post the retired list on Monday, April 15th.
Happy Stampin’
I just found your sunset background card and I love it. I need to do 100 sunset backgrounds for wedding favors for my daughter. I was looking for the how to video and can’t find it. Can you help. Thanks, Mary
Oops, I totally forgot to post this video. I’ll post it this week. Thanks for reminding me 🙂
Hope to see a video on how you made the stunning sunset!!!
Hello, Barbara! I love these cards, especially the sailboat in the sunset card. Have you done your video yet? I’d love to see it!
Gorgeous cards as always! I sure miss going to those events.
I love this suite even though I’m not into sailing. I can envision cards for a variety of reasons from this suite. Loved your presentation.
Your presentation was excellent, and I love your projects. The sunset card is my fave:)
Barbara it was so fun sharing a table with you and you blew our minds with the masking tape!! Thank you for your gorgeous work!
Thanks Melissa, I loved your projects too. It was great meeting all the presenters.
