The Scenic Coast Suite Collection is one of my favorite suites in the May catalog. You can interchange the designer papers and colors to make lots of cards or scrapbook pages around the sunset focal point on the papers. What I didn’t realize right away after Stampin’ Up! first showed us the paper, was the shine on the water. The sun reflection on the water on all the papers is clear embossed to create a shine on the water. Here’s a close up of the paper so you can see the shine. It’s absolutely gorgeous in person!
The card above is Blueberry Bushel, Highland Heather, and Gorgeous Grape. Here’s two more designs in totally different color combos…I love the color combinations in the paper. The one below is Strawberry Slush, Blueberry Bushel, and white.
And, below is the third card I’ve designed so far. This one is Gorgeous Grape and Crushed Curry. I wanted to use the lighthouse cut from the circle and the netting. Adhesive Sheets are the perfect choice for sticking down this netting. Just back your Crushed Curry scrap with Adhesive Sheet before die cutting. I also used Adhesive Sheet backing for the sunburst in the first card.
Also, the cloud & shells in this card and the one above are just die cut from the scraps after cutting down the 6″x6″ designer paper into your card front.
The loose Anchor Trinkets are from the Waterside Retreat Suite, but also coordinate with this Scenic Coast Suite Collection beautifully.
