I was inspired to create this Sea Turtle card with the Rays of Light background from a much simpler version I saw someone make.  Since there isn’t dies for the Sea Turtle set, I fussy cut the turtle.  But, you can also give it some dimension by shaping it with your fingers.

My stamp club laughed at me when I told them after shaping your turtle, put dimensionals in the “little flipper pits” to keep the shape.  Actually, the dimensionals go more like where elbows would be…lol.  The Rays of Light is stamped in Coastal Cabana with sponging also in Coastal Cabana and Pretty Peacock.

I heat embossed the turtle with black embossing powder.  So, to match that shine, I added Wink of Stella to the fish swimming by and the “hello” word.  I love this idea for pairing the Sea Turtle with the Rays of Light stamp set.  Apparently, I cut too many projects though, so I have quite a few of these to finish making.  I might change up the greeting when I make more, although, “hello” is one of my favorites because it’s so generic.
