My Stamp Club is making a Service Essentials Bundle card this month. It’s been too long since we had a military related stamp set. So, when I saw this one in the Online Exclusives, I grabbed it right away. I have a few old wood sets that I’ve been hanging onto in case I needed a military service card. But they don’t have dies…lol.
I decided it needed to be all shiny. So, I used VersaMark and clear embossing powder on everything except the silver dog tag and chain. For that, I used black embossing powder. The Pecan Pie wings and star are also covered with Clear Embossing Powder…just powder them immediately before your Pecan Pie ink is dry. Also, I distressed the edges of the star background mat.

To make the dog tags more dimensional, I cut through the chain about 3 dots up from the bottom so I could tuck the chain behind the second dog tag. Link for the Service Essentials Bundle is below.
