I designed this simple Henna Hearts card for an in-home class I’m doing this weekend. Sometimes it hard for me to make a simple card since I love lots of layers and die cut elements. To keep it simple, I only used Just Jade ink and black on this one. I stamped the solid hearts extra light by stamping off the ink twice on my scrap paper before stamping on the card stock. Then, the detailed heart images are stamped full strength so they stand out better.
I added some speckles using the Just Jade Stampin’ Blend. Just flick the brush tip against the edge of the pen cap to create the speckles. Since I always get henna at the renaissance festivals, I was very excited to order this stamp set as soon as I saw it in the new annual catalog. I hope they like it at the party tomorrow.
Colors: Just Jade, Basic Black, Basic White, Pool Party (ribbon)
Supplies / Tools:
I will probably make some more of this design in some different colors to see which one I like best.
Happy Stampin’
