My stamp studio makeover is well under way to being finished for my Grand Re-Opening event.  When I changed my business name from Barbara’s Craft Circle to Green Moon Stamp Studio a couple of year’s ago, I knew I wanted to re-paint my studio from red to green (which is my favorite color anyway).  Here is the before photo of the east side of my studio.

My studio starting out just being the converted dining room above, but since we never used the formal living room right across from it, I grabbed up that room too.  Here is the west side which we just painted a light taupe (the whole house got painted last year—no more white walls, yay!).  I can’t wait to re-organize the wall units so they are the same height all the way across.  I ordered a few more paper organizers too which will help it look more uniform.

I got the walls finished in a light soothing green a couple of weekends ago.  I love my new sign too.  Tim and I went to a flea market about a year ago, and I bought this old window for about $15 to put my logo on.  Tim helped me put the logo on and hung it for me last weekend to get it off the floor in preparation for our new flooring.

And right now the new flooring is being installed…what a mess.  I hate moving everything and worrying about damage to furniture and walls, but I know it’ll all be worth it in the end.

We are getting the bigger baseboards too.  Goodbye 22 year old carpet, I won’t miss you.  Stayed tuned for part 2 of my stamp studio makeover.  Also, if you’re local to DFW, my Grand Re-Opening event is on Friday, March 27th, and Saturday, March 28th, including a sale, make’n’takes, and door prizes.

Happy Stampin’
