Well, fasten your seat belts….it’s time to move out some older colors to make room for some fresh new colors. Stampin’ Up! has evaluated our colors for gaps and popularity to identify opportunities for a new color line-up.
Even though 13 colors are retiring, 6 will be returning as well as 10 new ones to round out an amazing line up of 40 Core Colors, 10 In Colors, and 3 Basics Colors. More on new colors later when we can reveal them.
The 13 retiring colors are:
- Chocolate Chip
- Tangerine Tango
- Tempting Turquoise
- Soft Sky
- Marina Mist
- Wild Wasabi
- Always Artichoke
- Wisteria Wonder
- Island Indigo
- Pink Pirouette
- Elegant Eggplant
- Rose Red
- Perfect Plum
Retiring In Colors:
- Dapper Denim
- Emerald Envy
- Peekaboo Peach
- Sweet Sugarplum
- Flirty Flamingo won’t retire, it will be joining the Core Colors.
I can’t wait to play with the new and returning colors.
In addition, the molds for our stamp pads were needing to be replaced, so Stampin’ Up! decided to use this opportunity to improve the design. Here’s the new design. They still flip, but the lids seal tighter and they open easier. Oh, and the lid stays connected. They also stack flush with little round indents and dots in all corners (top & bottom)…nice!
The new labels come with a color label for the inside so we don’t have to make our own!
