Well, I managed to eat all my non-Stampin’ Up! provided meals at the Blue Lemon this year.  I just love that restaurant, and wish we had them in Texas.  We had lots of demonstrations with the new holiday kits, stamp sets, shiny papers and accessories throughout convention plus great freebies in the form of Prize Patrols, You Crew games, and all attendee giveaways.  Everyone won one of the Prize Patrols this year…Yay!

They also had Pioneer Day while we were here, so we saw some cute floats parked and ready for the parade.

Me and my roomie, Kathy, waiting for General Session to start.  During convention, we made 2 make’n’takes, a card front, a tag, and a bag.  So, we got to play with a variety of products from the holiday catalog.

At lunch, we waited in line to get a photo with Sara Douglass before grabbing our boxed lunch since the line was short.

Yay!  The new Basic Black and Basic Gray ink is ready!  It’s archival ink using a felt pad base and can be used for water-coloring as well.  They will be available in the holiday catalog and Stampin’ Up! gave us all one free Basic Black ink pad during one of the General Sessions.

I always have to get a photo with my friend, Shannon West.

Stampin’ Up! set up 2 of these photo opportunity props in the convention center hallways.

After the regular convention ended at lunchtime, Managers and above were invited to Center Stage which included lunch, a keynote speaker, and additional training designed just us…plus we received another stamp set from the holiday catalog on the way out.

Another great convention is over, but we have a local one that is now called On Stage that will be in November which will sneak peek the Spring items and Sale-a-Bration.

But for now, I can’t wait to do all the fun holiday kits and design Christmas cards for my classes and Stamp-a-Stacks this Fall.

Happy Stampin’
