Recently, I was telling my friend about the Stampin’ Write Markers change that happened with the May annual catalog release. So, if you weren’t aware, here are the details of the changes.
Here is a graphic showing the new improved tips.
The new features have been designed to help you have a better creative experience! Here’s a summary of the main changes.
Bullet Tip Changes:
Wider and less streaky
More consistent flow of ink
Smooth to write with
Brush Tip Changes:
Upgraded brush
Smoother application
Softer tip than before
The redesigned markers are great. My favorite marker technique is coloring directly on stamps and then huffing to moisten before stamping. This way, you can put multiple colors on the same stamp image.
The other Stampin’ Write Markers change to be aware of is the slight difference in size (photo below). The caps, barrels, and length of the markers are slightly different than before. The old marker is the top one and the new marker is the bottom one.
I chose to replace my entire collection so they all match. Half of my markers were 15 years old anyway. So, my marker collection is now updated and complete with all the new colors too.
Happy Stampin’
