I was wanting to play with the Around the Bend dies, and I decided the Sweetest Cherries punch bundle with a red, black, and white color scheme would be fun. Plus, since this is a punch bundle instead of a die bundle, it’s a little faster and simpler to build the cherries…I love punch bundles for that reason. This is one of my Stamp Club designs. Of course, I also used Wink of Stella on the word “Sweet” and on the cherries and leaves (even though it’s hard to see in the photo).
I colored the Perfectly Penciled designer paper with a Cherry Cobbler blend. You could also just leave it black and white. Also, to get your curve perfect, just die cut your paper and black card stock layered on top of each other. If you want your cherry stems to come together, be careful to angle the cherries appropriately. I hope the Sweetest Cherries punch bundle carries over to the new annual catalog. We’ll know by March 29th when the retirement list comes out. Be sure you’re on my weekly mailing list to stay up to date as we are approaching the launch of the new catalog.
