Ok, I haven’t shared the T-shirt story form OnStage yet. So, here it goes… Lately, Stampin’ Up! has been launching free t-shirts into the audience at events during the last minutes of our breaks. So, during one of the breaks in North Carolina, I was emerging from the restroom and they were launching t-shirts into the crowd. So, I staked my spot and tried to catch one.
Well, suddenly, a t-shirt was tossed straight to me. I was so excited that I didn’t quite catch it. It fell to the ground right between my feet and I bent down to pick it up so fast that I lost my footing and fell backward hard to the floor. I hit my head on the carpeted convention floor hard. Suddenly, I had several ladies surrounding me to make sure I was ok. I was stunned, but just needed a little time to recover. I noticed one of the ladies next to me was holding my t-shirt. Still a little stunned, I didn’t ask for the t-shirt or thank her for picking it up for me. Then, she left and I had lost my shirt.
Later, at the end of the convention, we headed outside to get a photo with the “Raleigh” sign. We set up a few poses and then my daughter asked a woman at a table nearby to take a photo of all of us. She did…here’s one of those photos.

Well, after she took the photos for us, she asked me how I was feeling after my fall. Then I realized that she was the lady that picked up my t-shirt when I fell. My daughter told her about me losing my shirt and that someone just took it. She reached in her bag, pulled out the shirt, and handed it to me! Wow! I couldn’t believe it! Of all the people there, she was the one we asked to take our photo. She didn’t realize what all had happened with me “catching” the shirt…from her point of view, she walked up and there was just a shirt on the ground that she picked up. I’m beyond thankful that she decided I should have the T-shirt.

They’re really awesome t-shirts. I’m also thankful that it was the right size. My daughter caught one too and traded for a better size.
So, that’s the T-Shirt story. I’ll try not to fall catching shirts in the future.
Happy Stampin’
