This is the Wildflower Designs card I made for my Stamp Club this month. It was hard to choose a paper out of this pack to cut…they’re all beautiful! I switched papers three times before settling on this one, but I want to make more of this design using the other papers too. All I need to do is maybe change up the card base/frame color and greeting card stock color for each design. Since the Crumb Cake designs are beautiful and rustic, I’m saving those two sheets for my wedding scrapbook (maybe the Misty Moonlight big flower designs too).
I decided to just glue the frames down flat on the paper to make it easy, but you could pop them up with foam adhesive for more depth. Embellishing this card with the Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots from this suite collection, added the perfect touch…love them! They’re kind of bronze and go great with the Early Espresso and rustic feel of this paper.
If you don’t have this paper yet, now is the perfect time to get some since it’s 15% off this month (order paper individually instead of the suite to get the sale price on the paper). I’m planning to use up all the Wild Wheat & Moody Mauve sheets for cards since I’m saving the rest for my scrapbook pages. So, I’ll try out the Wild Wheat for the next Wildflower Designs card.
Colors: Early Espresso, Moody Mauve, Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Mossy Meadow, Burlap
