The Sale-a-Bration host set, Calming Camellia, is one of the prettiest stamp sets ever! I love the dark shaded background in the stamps that make it perfect for the Whitewash Blending technique. Stampin’ Up! used this technique on their sample in the brochure. Here’s my version that I did for my stamp clubs this month.
Also, here is the technique write-up and sample we did for our technique journals. It’s so relaxing to paint the petals and create your own little work of art. I didn’t mention it in the write-up, but I also enhanced the petals with Wink of Stella after the white ink was dry. This stamp set is free with an order of $300 or more. So, my hostesses this month and next month will likely earn this one. I used the Daisy Garden background stamp for the technique sample.
