I designed a Cottage Rose envelope flap card for my June Stamp Club technique. Everyone loved it! The suite is actually called Abigail Rose which is also the name of the designer paper. Here’s a photo of the closed card.
I used Wink of Stella on the leaves die on the front of the card. That way, it creates a slight color on the leaves by smearing the Soft Suede ink around while adding glitter. Use 3 dimensionals around the tip of the flap to adhere the circle closure piece.
Here is what it looks like open and standing up. It does stand up and only leans very slightly because of the 1/8″ level difference.
As always, I make a mini sample and instructions for our technique book. Here is the sample and instructions in the technique book. I used different, but similar papers for the sample so it wouldn’t confuse anyone on what piece was what.
Card Stock Colors: Crumb Cake, Basic Gray, Basic White
Ink Pad Colors: Basic Gray, Soft Suede
