Check out my Detailed Dogwood card!  Sometimes simple, classic black & white is just what you need.  I made a Pecan Pie and Boho Blue card with this set too, but I LOVE the black & white one.  So, my club will do the black & white one in February.  This uses the paper piecing technique to overlay and pop up selected images.

Detailed Dogwood Card with Heartfelt Hellos Softly Stippled paper Stampin Up

Using the Pebbled Path designer paper from the Sale-a-Bration offering, Softly Stippled, adds to the antique style of the stamp set, I think.  Also, I didn’t realize that the Best Label punch cuts out the little “No. …” stamp until I was playing with it and recognized the shape.  I guess Stampin’ Up! forgot to label that in the little Sale-a-Bration brochure.

I did a little video for this card (see below).  The dragonfly in the set wound up being just on the envelope and the inside.  Dragonflies are one of my favorite images, so you can bet if there’s a dragonfly in a stamp set, I own that one!  Just sayin’…

Colors:  Basic Black, Basic White, Pebbled Path (designer paper only)

Supplies/Tools:

If you haven’t cashed in on Sale-a-Bration yet, you still have until February 29, 2024 to take advantage.  So, don’t wait…some items could go out of stock.  If you already have these freebies, I hope you decide to make my Detailed Dogwood card and give Paper Piecing a try.

Happy Stampin’

Barbara
