The stamp set, In The Moment, is perfect for this Watercolor Pencil technique.  This technique was demonstrated to us demonstrators during an online convention-like gathering.  I can’t wait until these “conventions” are back to being in person though.  When done on black, using the white Watercolor Pencil gives you a chalkboard look.  But, it works on lighter colors like Pool Party too.  Here are samples with Basic Black and Pool Party.  The black and white card uses the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder and the new All Together 6×6 designer series paper.

I used the Splatters embossing folder on the Pool Party sample and the Friendly Hello designer series paper from the recent Sale-a-Bration.  The rope border is from the Smooth Sailing dies.

Also, I used this technique for my stamp club technique journal.  The sample for the journal uses the cute little birds on a branch from the Free as a Bird stamp set.

I love how simple this coloring technique is and plan to make some more of these cards with the In The Moment stamp set.
