Joseph’s Coat technique is just perfect with the Arrange a Wreath stamp set. Happy Fall y’all! Here’s the Fall card I did for my club this month using the Joseph’s Coat technique.
Three steps are needed for this technique. First, sponge or watercolor some Fall colors on Whisper White or watercolor paper. Then, stamp solid image stamps in VersaMark embossed with clear embossing powder. Lastly, brayer dark ink like Early Espresso (in this case) over the entire piece. Also, wipe off the embossed images with a tissue or paper towel to wipe away excess ink. I used reinkers in a plate to smash watercolor paper into for the watercolor background under my leaves and wreath. Make sure you spritz the watercolor paper with water first. Also spritz the drops in the plate with some water.
Here is the technique page we did for our club technique books.
Everyone loved the card. I don’t usually use Mango Melody as a Fall color, but I love how bright and happy it is.
Colors: Mango Melody, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Whisper White
