Here’s the information on the Acrylic Color Blocking Technique for the background color.

For the ribbon, you need a ribbon that frays easily.  First fringe the end by pulling on it.  Then, try to grab one or two threads from near the middle by pulling at the fringe until the ones in the middle are longer to grab.  Then, hang onto the selected one(s) and scrunch down the ribbon half way.  Turn the ribbon around and do the other end.  You can’t scrunch all the way with one side since the thread is only as long as the cut piece of ribbon to start with.  If you pull the thread all the way out, just grab another one.  Put Sticky Strip on your card and arrange the scrunched ribbon on your tape.  Then, trim ends or just cut strays to even up the fringe.
